Briefs: TV board meeting, Gratiot's July 4th plans, church yard sale

DRESDEN − Tri-Valley Local Schools Board of Education will meet in special session at 7:45 a.m. Thursday at the administrative center, 36 E. Muskingum Ave., Dresden. Purpose is to approve a GMP amendment related to the Nashport Elementary School classroom project.

ZANESVILLE − An attic and basement treasures sale will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday at First United Methodist Church, 857 Putnam Ave. Proceeds benefit the church.

GRATIOT − An old-fashioned Fourth of July community celebration will be July 4 at Gratiot United Methodist Church, 345 South St. Food is served at 4 p.m. and the parade starts at 6:30 p.m. at the west end of the village. Menu includes sloppy joes, chicken, steak, hot dogs, noodles, potato salad, baked beans, pies, cakes and ice cream for a donation. For information, call 740-877-5758.

CROOKSVILLE − Par Mar 93 at 800 Ohio 13 SE recently became a U-Haul dealer serving the Crooksville community. It will offer essential services like U-Haul trucks, trailers, towing equipment, support rental items and in-store pickup for boxes.
